Wow, go check out Janet's journal. She has a much more detailed account of the last couple of weeks and some more pictures. She fills in a lot of the things I forgot, and embellishes on the things I managed to remember. Her memory is certainly better than mine.

Yeah, I was afraid the monkeys were going to yell and throw poo or something, but they were pretty calm. If you left them alone, they pretty much ignored you, though when they were walking down the path toward you, you'd better get out of the way. This was in the Monkey Forest in Bali, btw.

Thanks, man. I like that flamingos shot as well; I'm suprised it turned out so well and that I managed to get so many in the shot. I might ask Janet to take another picture of the ring to get a slightly better angle. And of course, you gotta love the monkeys. The one of the monkey licking lichen off the stone still cracks me up.
