The Greatest Threat to the Children of America Since the Foolio in Office

Our great leader, our esteemed psuedo-President, our undeniable Usurper decided to open his pie-hole on the subject of Eminem, calling him, "the greatest threat to American children since polio."

Excuse me? Pardon the fuck out of me?

Let me say right here and now, George Bush is a far greater threat to the children of this country than Eminem will ever be.

Let's do a price comparison, shall we?
1) Eminem teaches children to call women bitches and swear in general. George Bush causes children to swear on the constitution so he can send them to the desert to be shot.

2) Eminem brings awareness to children of the problems facing this country by way of his music. Art imitates life, folks. It's not the other way around. If you don't like what an artist says, then you don't like the world upon which they're reporting. Don't shoot the messenger.

George Bush gives tax breaks to the top three percent of America's wealthiest people, thereby perpetuating the wealth class warfare that exists in this country. This causes the rich to get richer and the poor to get poorer and creates the poverty-stricken world that Eminem sings about.

3) Eminem is a mysogynist. George Bush doesn't know what that word means.

4)Eminem is pro-life. George Bush is pro-death penalty.

5)Eminem's music feeds the souls of America's youth. George Bush's policies will cause children to go hungry. (Except the children in Iraq, that is.)

George Bush making value judgements about Eminem is like Madonna calling Jody Foster a slut.

Somehow, someway, he got into office. We, as Americans, showed our collective asses on that day. We left it hanging in the wind. But friends, George Bush is the red, bulbous pimple on the ass of America.

And it's time we popped the fucker.

Joseph Haines, signing off from the Edge of the Abyss.
