Well, here goes. My novel is a mystery, my first, and I've been writing it for about seven years. I've learned a lot in my first twenty or so attempts, so what's coming out now is pretty good, I think. It impressed the author at my monthly writer's group. At least, she giggled in the right places.
My count, as of 5:30am PDT, on Wednesday, October 1, 2003 stands at 5,888 words. This is my starting point, what I have written prior to entering the Dare.
