It's been a while since I reported word count. It's not because I haven't been writing, because I have been working on a few short stories. But I was stalled on the novel for a while. I tried outlining it, and found a lot of plot holes I need to fill in and scenes I need to move around. I'm not sure if I will do this before I continue writing the novel. I know I will need to do some revising, because, my anal nature won't let me move forward until I do. So, the word count may or may not favorably reflect my progress on the novel, but I am doing my best to stop procrastinating and stop neglecting it.
How about you? Would anyone care to share as story about when you suffered through what I appear to be going through? All comments, positive or negative, are welcome and appreciated.
