I guess Zayra will live another week to sing for SuperNova. She did a decent job on her song, whatever it was, I've never heard it before. I was a bit surprised they booted Phil Ritchie, but I think Tommy was accurate. Phil's heart just wasn't in it.

I am really happy that Patrice survived. She turned it up and knocked it out for her Bottom Three performance and redeemed herself. I thought she would. And it was cool seeing Storm get the encore.

I don't know why Jill is so stubborn and confrontational. Maybe that's a good attitude, but I don't think it's helping her cause. And I am happy someone brought up the song choices. The band can't really criticze the rockers for a bad song choice when they are the ones who put the songs up there for them to choose from. I forget who brought that up.

My local radio station (B93, Modesto) has changed. They're calling themselves "The New B93" now. It always scares me when a station does that. It's rarely good. In this case, it's really bad.

They still play all the modern rock I like, but they've added new songs to the playlist from the "techno-pop/hip-hop/mini-rap" genre that I find annoying. In particular, they are playing Jessica Simpson, who I am just plain tired of. And after Jessica, they play Nick Lachey. How sickeningly putrid. And of course we have to hear about how sad it is that Jessica can't pull in $600K for magazine covers anymore.

This morning was really bad, made worse by the fact that I don't have my CD played to eradicate the awful song that's playing in my head. A truly disgusting piece of music by Black Eyed Peas called "My Humps." Ack! I can't stand it. This is why I hate this music, it's all earworms!

I went to write last night. Worked a bit on the outline for my novel. And I also tinkered with an idea for a short story, and managed to figure out a good twist for it. So, even though I don't have actual words to show for it, I do think I can begin writing it.

How's everybody's Thursday going?
