A day late, I'm sorry about that. Too busy with work and Martial Arts training to post yesterday. And speaking of training, you may see a change of color on this blog soon...

From this point on, every week, a rocker we have come to know, and enjoy seeing, will be dismissed. This week, that was Ryan "The Dark Horse" Star. I knew he was going home once Brooke called Dilana as the third member of the Bottom Three. More on that later.

At this point, it's no longer about who gives a bad performance. I mean, just look at both this week's shows. These rockers are kicking serious ass. However, it's now about who best fits into Supernova. Of the five remaining rockers, well, I could see any of them fronting the band. We'll see what transpires. The songwriting seminar could put someone to the top of the heap.

I was hoping Supernova would bring Storm up to perform with them, thinking they would go "girl-boy-girl-boy" but it was Lukas. And I thought he sounded great. And I loved the song. I can't wait to get the CD when it comes out.

Toby gave the encore. No surprise there. I missed seeing him pull all the hot women in the crowd onstage. And is it me, or does there seem to be a more than adequate supply of hot women in the crowd around the stage?

And then ... the Bottom Three ...

I was dismayed to see that the Dilana controversy (as it was) caused her to lose votes. But I liked her attitude toward it. And it was good for Magni, who scored the most votes of all the rockers. I imagine this was the first week Dilana didn't take the top spot in votes. She's roaring back, I think. But good for The Iceman.

Ryan's performance of BABA O'RILEY kicked ass. This rocker, in what would be his last on the show, kicked it up yet another notch. Without a doubt, he is lightyears ahead of where he was when he started. He could've won this thing.

All my regular readers know I love Storm. And it's not just that she's hot, I think she's a great singer, and I like her style. I think she may be a bit too pretty for Supernova, but I can see her fronting the band. I wonder if she taller than Gilby, Jason, or Tommy. I couldn't quite tell when she jumped on Tommy's lap. Anyway, her killer delivery of HELTER SKELTER was awesome, and I told Ben, "She's not going anywhere." And he confirmed that I was right.

The last member of the Bottom Three was Dilana. And at that point, I think even Ryan knew he was going home. Though not quite up to her standard, Dilana still nailed PSYCHO KILLER. The performance carried her usual kick-ass style, and that, combined with her great attitude toward her status, will carry her through -- possibly to winning the gig.

And so, Ryan was dismissed. After all these weeks seeing these rockers grow as performers, it gets more difficult to see someone sent home. Even Dilana said, "I know I'm going to cry tonight." Which proves she has a big heart beneath all those piercings. Not sure how I feel about Ryan saying that Supernove will miss out. Confidence? Sour grapes? Sumgness? I don't know. But The Dark Horse will ride again.

Who will be the next to go? I still think the Final Four will be two guys and two girls, so Storm and Dilana will survive next week. Between Lukas, Toby, and Magni -- that's a very tough call. We'll have to see who comes up with the best Supernova song.

Till then ... I hope everyone has a nice long weekend.
