Today it is almost one month since my wife left for Florida to help take care of her Father. For one month I have been working from home (which is nice), along with getting Ben to school, picking him up, helping him with homework, making dinner, doing laundry, feeding the felines ... wait, I forgot something ... oh, shopping! Which bring me to today's adventure.

Ben and I decided it was past night at Casa Schramm, so into the oven went a half loaf of three alarm garlic bread. Then I checked the sauce supply. It was low. And it was my Father's sauce. I bought stuff to make a batch of my own marinara, but I can't make it till the weekend, while watching football. Go Colts! So, Ben got pasta with the remaining Grandpa Tom sauce.

What to do?

Mary makes pasta with pesto. One of her specialties. I had pasta, and there was pesto, and sun-dried tomatoes, and olive oil, and some garlic cloves. No chicken, though. It all went into a big pan. High heat. And I had dinner. That, plus tow slices of three-alarm, and I am pleasantly stinking to high heaven. It came out really good.

Just home from Martial Arts traning. Ben finishing homework. Dad taking a few minutes to blog. And then I am going to try and plot a short story.

Then, sleep ...
