First, and most exciting, I've gone through my stacks and scraps of notes and Writing Group critiques, and I have started writing my novel again. Faithful readers will recall that I have gone down this road many times. Well, as David Coverdale said, here I go again.

The Word Count counter to the left indicates my present word count. I have a few more scenes to be revised, and then it will be all forward progress. This probably means, that as I progress, I will discover scenes that need to be added in earlier chapters. I am told this is normal.

Meanwhile, I remain without employment. The job market does seem to be picking up a bit, but employers are still be careful with who they hire, so it's not easy.

I am over halfway done with my UNIX class. I'm considering applying for UNIX Sys Admin jobs, even though I lack the professional experience. It would mean a loweer rate, but the way things are now, I feel as if I am just starting out on my career anyway. It's tough.

And I don't have a school I can sue.
