Last night was a strange one. Marc has been sick and feverish, so he's been very restless at night. So, I spent most of last night in bed with him. We'd eaten dinner at my father-in-law's house and they'd filled him up with a bunch of stuff that didn't stick with him.

At about 2am, Marc had been rolling around trying to fall back asleep for awhile. He sits up and tells me he needs a diaper change. Usually, he waits for the morning but sometimes when he's awake at night, he needs it. So, I put him on the changing table and started changing his diaper, only to find that his diaper was totally dry. I told him so and he tells me that he wants to go on the potty. And he did! So far, he hasn't shown much interest in potty training - he did for awhile then decided he wanted nothing to do with it. But obviously he's capable, so after Alex is born I think we'll start working on it.

Then, after going potty, he tells me he wants breakfast. When I told him it was still the middle of the night, he changed his mind and said he wanted dinner. lol I realized he probably was hungry since he hadn't had a good dinner (thanks Tata!) so I took him downstairs and fed him. At 2am. Luckily, he went right back to sleep afterwards.

This morning, when he woke up, he snuggled up to me and cupped his hand around his mouth like he was telling a secret. He whispered "Mommy!" and I whispered back "What?" and he whispered "I lubs you!". Awwwwww :)
