CVS is awesome

As someone whose quality of life (freedom from disabling pain) is dependent on easy access to my prescription for Imitrex, a good pharmacy is absolutely necessary. I'd become used to a pharmacy that treats me like I'm trying to scam them. Imitrex is not a painkiller. It is not addictive. Yet, when I'm allotted only 9 pills per month and I need 15 so I try to fill it early and pay it out of pocket, my previous pharmacy acted like I was an addict trying to score drugs.

I'm not used to being treated by a real person by my pharmacy. I switched to CVS about 9 months back and their customer service is awesome. They try to help me with what I need. When my refills run out and need doctor approval, they stay on top of the doctor until he calls back. Rite Aid would call and then if he still hadn't called back a week later, they left it to me to make him call. CVS tries to help me find alternatives that are less expensive. They worked with my health insurance to find a prescription that worked the same that they'd cover for less.

I'm impressed. They've won a loyal customer.
