2004-08-19 8:19 PM 40% there! I have to say, you guys... this is great. As of right now, pledges for my 50-mile MS TOUR FOR A CURE ride stand at $405. I can't keep up with thank-you notes for each pledge, so please accept my thanks here. This is more than I thought I'd raise.
New bike shoes came yesterday! I got a pair of Lake CX115s to go with my new Crank Brothers "eggbeaters," which I got because they reportedly shed mud well. Admittedly, I expect to shed very little mud on the MS ride, but come Winter, I'll be looking to shed snow—especially once I've got a toasty pair of MXZ 300s clipped to the pedals. I didn't buy them last winter, but there's no way around it this year. Because darn it, aren't my toes worth it? Somebody should sponsor an MS Icebiking Tour for the Cold-Resistant and Clinically Insane. I'd go. Read/Post Comments (4) Previous Entry :: Next Entry Back to Top |
