2004-11-24 1:32 PM Antegren approved They renamed it "Tysabri" because the FDA thought "Antegren" was too close to "Integrillen," a drug used by heart patients. Good reason. Stupid name.
Soon thousands of multiple sclerosis patients will visit their doctors once a month for a Tysabri I.V. Then it's what... ten years? twenty? before we find out what the long-term effects are. I'd like my long-term effects to include X-ray vision, but considering pending life changes, I'll take the ability to hold my breath longer than the average diaper change.
