2007-01-19 7:00 PM Music from a cheap Montreal hotel I've been by myself and away from my family all week, immersed in plot work, research, and writing. Some of the research has been disturbing and hard to take. The plot stuff has been difficult, and the writing... is the same as always. I've also been isolated; I'm in my hotel room, in a cafe working, or walking from one place to another, and I don't speak or read French.
