We moved into our new apartment this last weekend and this is the first time I really have the time or the energy to post a journal entry.

The weekend is a blur. After sending so much time packing and getting so little sleep, I almost didn't make it through till the end. Sunday was the actual move day, and we hired movers.. thank god. I never would have made it without them. I would have been sitting on the stairs in Pasadena, next to my Jerker desk lying in pieces, crying.

For the most part, I sat in a semi-dream state while the movers carried our stuff into the truck. Jason was productive and started cleaning while I existed in my dream space.

I sat with Jenn on the couch Sunday night, surrounded by boxes, my cat Artemis in utter shock, hiding under the covers (she doesn't handle moving well), utterly tired, but happy.

I get to live with my little family: Jenn, Artemis, and Balthazar the Christmas Cat.
