Just got back from an all day Civ game at Ken and Shelley's house... wow! I managed to squeak my way into 2nd to last place. *shakes head* I got SMACKED with some seriously bad luck in the middle of the game (about 5 hours into the 10 hour game) and it was simply impossible for me to recover. I enjoyed myself anyway, the people there were intelligent and funny.
