Oh god, it's so good.
Last night, Jenn and I went over to Ken and Shelley's for some enjoyable gaming... but first... DINNER. Shelley made the most amazing dinner. Roast chicken with mushroom-chicken gravy (with just a hint of curry), corn on the cob, herb rice, fresh baked bread, 4 little dipping bowls with olive oil and a type of seasoning, and two roasted garlic bulbs. It was heaven on a plate.
AND... after dinner while we were gaming, Shelley used the rest of the roasted chicken to make chicken soup! She sent a big jar of it home with us and we turned that into dinner tonight!
It was again, totally awesome. We followed it up with chocolate fondue for dessert. We dipped fresh apples and strawberries we got from the farmer's market across the street and dipped with some pretzels too!
Here I sit, totally full and happy.
