New Google Site Design!
If you haven't noticed yet, Google pushed a new site design last night!
Check out the new site Design for Google.com
Make sure to do a search too, because most of the changes are on the results page. Some of the things that I really like about the page is:
a) it's faster, the amount of HTML to transfer is like 25% smaller, so it loads and renders a lot faster
b) the tabs are gone, replaced by simple links. This makes it more obvious to users that those items are clickable.
c) Small changes like the [definition] link make it more obvious to users that the link takes you to dictionary.com with a definition of the search term. I don't think most people even knew that feature was there before! :)
There are _many_ other things I like about it, but what do you guys think?
