This isn't where I thought I was going to be when I looked forward into my life, but here I am....

Now you're cookin!
I haven't given an update on myself in awhile, so here ya go. :)
I've been getting prepared for the impending trip to Korea, doing too much shopping and well, trying to mentally prepare myself. This trip has built up a lot of resentment along the way for a variety of reasons and I'm not looking forward to all of the social politics that are going to be involved in the entire trip. I am going to try to focus on seeing a beautiful country with Jenn and take it from there.
Had some minor surgery to remove a bit of chronic acne that wouldn't ever go away completely. I've reflected on the procedure quite a bit and I've decided that the injections of anesthesia into the area actually was the most painful thing I've ever experienced. I know, that sounds like hyperbole, but seriously. I've sat down and gone through the most physically painful experiences in my life and I've really come to the conclusion that this was the top. The doctor's always tell you, "This is going to pinch a little" and I'm ok with that. I understand that level of pain and it's ok. THIS did not pinch, I was screaming and cussing and gasping. *shakes head* Hopefully, never again. 10 days after, I went back to have the stitches removed and I'm healing very well.
Onto lighter news.... Jenn got me Rachel Ray's 30 Minute Meals 2 and I initiated it today by making some Honey Mustard BBQ Chicken for dinner! Yum!
I'm going to be attempting a mini-dare ala Jenn next week. I've decided that since I've been so out of commission on exercise due to stiches that I'm going to do some kind of workout each day for 1 hour. Major sweating involved. Interested in a mini-dare? Check out her journal entry!
