Korea Day 6: Day of Anonymous Temples

My journal notes sort of peter out at this point, so I can't really remember the names of the temples and such, but we had a really nice, long walk through a beautiful forest along with good conversation the whole way. :) Jenn snapped some fun pics along the way, like this one of Anna and Beth.

There were small little temples along the walk.

We started heading back to the bus, which involved quite a walk up hill. At the top of the hill, DJN was sitting with Grandmaster Yum and talking to an older woman who ran a small store. She had a bunch of bottles of cold water and DJN told everyone who walked by to buy water from her. :) We were at the front of the group, so we were able to hear a funny thing. DJN and Grandmaster Yum asked the old woman how much for a bottle of water and she replied 600 Won. DJN and Grandmaster Yum say, "No, no! That's not enough" and then DJN starts yelling to everyone to buy water for 800 (about 80 cents). :) Some high-ranking people have good hearts. :)

It was a long day, but mostly driving or uninteresting things. :)
