Almost an hour... now the waiting really begins
Jenn and I walked over to our polling place this morning and got in line to vote. There were 3 precincts voting in this location and color-coded tables. The orange and green tables were essentially empty and the line for the yellow table was out the door, down the hallway and out onto the sidewalk.
It took us about an hour to get up to the booths and vote. This the first time I voted in a Presidential election. I would have voted for Gore in 2000, but I didn't understand the registration process properly.
I voted for Kerry and I have my fingers crossed that Ohio and Flordia did too. A couple of friends are coming over tonight to watch the festivities/fiascos/etc.
