I posted previously about the very cool new Google Maps. Responses in the comments varied from very happy and excited all the way to bummed that it doesn't support Safari.

Keith posted a very well worded complaint about the lack of Safari support:

If Google (and those other sites) are in business, customer satisfaction is their business. Technical issues like whose fault it is that javascript is implemented a certain way in a certain browser are secondary issues.

Google Maps now supports Safari and Opera.

I told you Google kicked ass. :)
