Back vile spam!! Back!
JournalScape has been overrun with spammers as of late. They've been leaving spam comments on people's journals and now they are setting up porn journals with automated scripts. It's terrible. I've removed over 150 porn journals this morning.
I'm going to be adding security images (known as a CAPTCHA), to journal signups and comments. I've almost got the journal sign up working and sometime next week I'll work on the comments.
All of the spam coming out of JournalScape has been causing Google to drop us from the index (or at least drop us lower and lower). I don't want our bandwidth and goodwill be wasted by spammers. They suck.

Is "hairygirls" porn really that popular?
