Vertical boards have started!

I actually did about twice as much work as shown in the photos over the weekend. I attached all of the vertical boards on the one side, but then realized I had done them too far apart. Bodb's head is much smaller than I thought and we don't want him to be able to get his whole head through the gaps. So, I had to undo all the work I did on Saturday.

I also apparently am really bad at choosing the hardware I need. Perhaps this is just the learning curve involved with construction. I had to make 3 trips to buy hardware for the curvy part, realize it was the wrong hardware, go back and return it, buy new hardware that was appropriately sized, then realize that I had the wrong size washers as well as the wrong type of heads on the bolts (they wouldn't sit flush against the washers), etc, so one more trip where I got the perfect hardware. :)
