Back from Camp Obama
Wow, it was quite an experience!
Here's my Camp Obama Photo Album, check it out!
We learned about leadership styles, when each type is appropriate, about Obama's stances on the issues, how recruiting/phone banking/canvassing works, etc.
I've chosen to make a 5 week, full time commitment to work in Clark County, Nevada. It's a bit scary, supposedly the schedule is like 9am to midnight, 7 days a week. The electoral college maps at the moment show a 2 vote difference between Obama and McCain. Nevada is traditionally a red state, it has 5 electoral votes and it's on the edge of voting for Obama. If I can help switch the support from McCain to Obama, I feel like that could mean a win for Obama (and in my opinion, a win for everyone).
