Flying Cheese

It's kind of weird to think that your cheese is flying across the country, moving at 600 miles per hour at 30,000 feet or so while you sit at your desk.

Yeah, we have another order with iGourmet winging its way to us (at least the FedEx tracking pages says it is at this very moment). We could not resist the special on super sharp aged cheddar cheese from England: only $2.50 a pound!

We got some other stuff kinds with it (had to for a minimum order), including more Postel, some Morbier, Cheshire, and a set of fondue cheeses.

For the last, we have been trying to track down kirsch (a black cherry brandy) that's supposed to be used when making fondues, but no luck so far. Shelley has a lead from a co-worker, though, about a store that may actually have a selection of brands.

Cheese, please!
