According to a recent report Ireland Is Lost Island of Atlantis, Says Scientist.

Well now, maybe it was and maybe it wasn't.

But two things of note:

1) the "scientist" calculates the chance that Plato had knowledge of Ireland at 99.98%. What a load of &$#%! It's likely that Plato did have such knowledge, but you can't calculate a percentage for it! I mean, what total lunacy to try to make your case better by making such an absurd statement, and then take it out to two decimal places. Sigh.

2) I would expect this kind of news article to conclude with some scholars "locate it soley in Plato's imagination" rather than that they "locate it solely in the long-decayed brain of Plato." That's just a strange way to put it.
