A call went out not long ago for pano photographers to upload submissions for an exhibit at Photokina, which is apparently a HUGE important annual photography industry show (held in Germany).

Only IQTVRA (International QuickTime Virtual Reality Association) members could participate in this special endeavour, because the IQTVRA is the group sponsoring the exhibit, which is designed to show off panoramic
photography (in print). Each person could submit five entries, and have a maximum of one selected for printing out in large format for display there. Only 35 will be accepted in total.

So I spent the night looking at a lot of my old panos, all of which are too small to be printed, I realized later. But I found a number of Panoscan creations that may pass the test, so I submitted them. Results will be announced in a few days.

Oh yeah -- part of the exhibit involves selling copies of the prints. The people who many the show will take orders and make copies, and the photographers get a cool $100 for each print. I'm not holding my breath for that, but it would be cool to have one selected.

Here are my entries. Each is about 250K and opens in a separate window because they're 1000 pixels wide. (If they appear too dark, especially the last one, try adjusting your monitor.)

These are each 360-degree photos, spread out in 2D.
