Yeah. A more boring conference is hard to imagine.

By 11:30 I couldn't take it any more, so I skipped lunch and the following session (that didn't even look useful) to go down to the waterfront to visit the San Diego Maritime Museum in order to visit and photograph the replica 18th-Century British frigate H.M.S. Surprise used in Master and Commander.

I must admit that it was SO much more enjoyable to be out in the sunny afternoon photographing ships than sitting in a hotel meeting room hearing people drone on about identity management systems that do not concern me.


And get this... while stitching images to create the panoramas, HBO aired Master and Commander... nice!
