Our drive up to Idaho passed uneventfully, although the dogs did not appreciate being squished in the back seat next to our old TV. We spent much of our time in Idaho at Mom's new house exchanging gifts, playing games, and constructing shelters for sheep and ponies.

We also hiked nearly every day and visited a commercial hot springs pool one evening. My sister Krista and her husband Breck and their infant Aspen seem to be doing well, and the same for my sister Wendy. It was good to see everyone after a long time.

Wendy's proud catch o' the day!

A sage bush serves just as well as a pine!

Aspen takes the truck out for a spin...
