It's not that I dislike Republicans so much - nor even like Democrats particularly - that overjoys me at Tuesday's now-all-tallied voting results. I just believe Bush is a moron and an incompetant president, and the worst thing to happen to this country in a very long time. Ditto for his cronies. The departure of Rumsfield is just icing on the cake, baby.

That Californian's did not pass the new smoking tax surprises me greatly. The numbers show about 52% to 48%. I figured it would be much more the other way. The oil company tax also did not pass, 54 to 45. Too bad for both of them. Fewer than 7 million people total voted for either of those. That's less than the population of the LA area.

Tomorrow CSUN staff have a rare Friday off, for Veterans' Day. I'll pass most of it with continued work on my online game, which I've spent a lot of the past two weeks converting to use the new web technology called Ajax. It's no longer going to use frames and will have a much more modern look and feel without using tables for layout and design. Creativity gone wild. Or somethin'.
