How much wood would a sawfish saw if a sawfish could saw wood?

Just check out the Sawfish to find out.

The Sawfish is a tethered, remotely controlled submersible vehicle that can take down trees in seconds and then attach an airbag to them so they float to the surface. It can go down over 1,000 feet and bring up 250 trees a day, relying on only four people.

What a brilliant idea: harvest trees that have been submerged by man-made lakes! The process and machines are eco-friendly, politcally correct, and able to reach billions of dollars worth of trees that are otherwise lost forever.

Just read about this in Wired. Had to share. I love the ingenuity, practicality, and sheer cleverness of the whole system.
