No more thumb twiddling. And not even much of a salary cut.

We're headed back to Ithaca. I'll be working as a web developer in Cornell Information Technologies, probably in a cubicle literally next to the one I worked in from '91-'97, starting on Feb. 11.

At this point plans have me working here for two more weeks, then going to Ithaca alone to get to know everyone and the projects there for five weeks, then back out here to work remotely for a time, while we try to sell the house. How long that may take remains to be seen. We will be putting the house on the market before I leave so we'll see how much interest it generates. Yes, it's probably not the best timing for trying to sell the house, but there are various reasons that we're doing it anyway.
