This makes me retch. A quote from USA Today:
"Wall High School gymnastics coach and former teacher Gerald Basiak of Tinton Falls, N.J., taught Dupre about 10 years ago when she was in the fifth grade at the Old Mill School in Wall, N.J."
"She was a wild kid. Basically, what I remember from her was she had a heart of gold, but she went to the beat of a different drum," Basiak told the Asbury Park Press Wednesday night. "She didn't really fit in with the kids, because she went a different way."
"Basiak, who called Dupre's current situation "a shame," said he lost touch with her after she left his class."
This is about the woman Gov. Spitzer hired as a prostitute.
They go and compare her behavior from when she was in 5th grade, to now, when she is 22. By asking her gym teacher.
I didn't know 5th-grade gym teachers might even consider keeping in touch with their students. Did yours? (And if so, don't they have a term for that?)
