Despite having lived in Ithaca for a long time, we've never attended the Ithaca Festival until this year. Not sure why we've not gone before, maybe it seemed like it wasn't our thing with the music they offer, for the most part, or what.

In any case, we checked out the craft booths, the food booths, some of the entertainment, etc., etc. It's nice enough, pretty standard fair for the most part, not that exciting for us. Just a bit underwhelming unless you're into the bands and music, which we're not so much.

But we did have fun with Kelley; the merry-go-round, the swings, and the kids' water spurters at Stewart Park provided plenty of entertainment.

We had a good bit of fun in mid-afternoon after we left the Festival. We went up to campus so that I could climb the bell tower and take a panorama for the latest World Wide Panorama (theme: elevation).

After I had already reached the top and shot photos, Shelley decided to bring Kelley up. Baby really likes to hear the chimes and today she got the chance to hear them up close and personal!

They played a special wedding concert, starting with Ode to Joy and ending with the Cornell Alma Mater, both excellent pieces to hear up there. Thankfully the very loud bells did not frighten Kelley while up there!

Enjoying the merry-go-round.

Her words, not ours: I'm taking a shower!

At the top of the tower, between songs.

Obviously a successful festival as far as she's concerned!
