Our agent just called to say that we have a strong offer coming in today! Not necessarily all that high, but with financing lined up and able to close in 30 days. We are waiting by the fax machine with bated breath!

Actually, we would be if we were at home. This afternoon we have the annual CIT picnic, down by the lake. If it's not too rainy we may stay for a while. Kelley's been very good with Shelley today, even having her very own first dentist visit!

The last couple weeks Kelley's been learning to identify birds. Her favorite is the chick-a-dee-dee-dee but she knows sparrow and goldfinch too, now, and is learning dove and blue jay.

We had a fawn down at the little pond yesterday morning, and a blue heron there as well two evenings ago. We're looking forward to watching next week's meteor show from our own field, and our garden has been doing well. Lately we've had lettuce, broccoli, cucumbers, tomatoes, beans, and peas.
