"In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed." Kahlil Gibran

what time is it?

Spring forward...fall back. Here we go again with this dang daylight savings time. I have never been able to understand the value of this exercise. None the less, this weekend we have to set our clocks an hour ahead. UGH!

Funny thing about time, an hour is an hour, a minute is a minute..no matter what. I was a slave to the clock for most of my life, until I moved here to KY. I haven't worn a watch since the day I arrived here. And I love it.

My daughter keeps track of my doctor's appointments for me...other than that, I have no demands regarding how I spend my time. I eat when I'm hungry, I sleep when I'm tired...I like it that way.

Funny thing about time...its all so relative. Waiting for a check in the mail seems to take forever...but a bill in the mail seems to arrive with great speed.

I do know that the older I get, the more quickly time seems to pass. I guess that's why I make such an effort to utilize each moment, to pack away a memory every chance I get. Every moment is precious, even when we're not counting.
