I told you about the Relay for Life we attended last weekend. They printed the fund raising results in the newspaper tonight...(small town newspaper..and we don't rush things here in KY).

At any rate, we raised over $70,000 for cancer research and patient assistance...not bad for a few country folk. The beauty is that 90 per cent of the money is spent to benefit patients and only 10 per cent goes for administration. Pretty dang good I would say.

That's the good news...now for the bad news:

There were only 55 survivors walking..but there were nearly 700 luminaries placed for those who didn't survive this awful disease.

Tonight my first star wish goes for a cure...soon.
