Read/Post Comments (6) "In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed." Kahlil Gibran |
2006-06-06 6:30 AM we know who he was... For those of you following the saga of Pizon...we now know his real name was Hank. He was two years old, a chiuaua (sp) and well loved.
He lived with a family with 3 children, ages 4, 6 and 9. He snuck out of the house on that fateful Saturday and they have been looking for him ever since. We heard their plea on the radio tonight and called them immediately...sure enough, it was Hank. They have decided to let him rest where we buried him underneath the shade tree. We invited them to come up and see where he is resting, if that is their wish. We here are all grateful to know from whence he came and his family, although devastated by his death are grateful to at least know what happened. These aren't rich folks but they have offered to do what they can towards the vet bill. They had offered a small reward for his return which we of course declined. No matter who ends up paying, the fact that he did not have to die alone by the side of the road is enough. Thanks for all your comforting words.
