Read/Post Comments (4) "In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed." Kahlil Gibran |
2006-06-06 11:40 PM my horror scope " June 6, 2006
You generally tend to be a sensitive and intuitive person, audrey, but today you might find yourself even more so than usual. Reading about people from other places and even times might cause you to actually tune into their thoughts and feelings, receiving some new insights into human nature. Creative projects, particularly writing, benefit from this condition. If you want to remember what you come up with, however, it might be best to write it down." I half expected today's horrorscope to tell me the devil was comin to get me! But, as you can see, that's not gonna happen...at least not today. But..it got me to thinking...that part about remembering..that it might be best to write it down. Now that made me feel like somebody was peeking into my house. I can't remember my own name half the time, and if its something I really need to remember, I DO have to write it down. However, I run into problems even then. Half the time I forget where I wrote it down, the other half I don't understand my own shorthand and can't figure out what I meant when I wrote it. Phone numbers are a big one for me...I write them down on little scraps of paper with the intention of putting them in one of the many phone books I have, but when the time comes to do that, I've forgotten where I put the scrap of paper. Grocery lists are another thing...I make them okay, but I usually forget them when I go to the store. Thank you notes....aauuuughhh...I always think about them at the time...but if I let a day or two go by, I forget to do it and don't think of it again til much, much, much later. By that time, the recepiant probably wouldn't even know what I was talking about. Oh well...I've learned to live with my shortcomings, at least this one.
