"In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed." Kahlil Gibran

recent observations...

I slept most of the day away...the withered body just demanded rest.

The moments I did spend awake were lost in a maze of thoughts that had nothing to do with anything.

Here are some of my recent observations as seen through the fog between sleep and awareness:

* Caffeine probably works quicker if taken intravenously.

* People listen but don't often hear.

* One can live a long time on fast food.

* Deprived of chocolate, one can fall off the edge of sanity.

* If you leave home for a period of time, dogs and cats will be happier to see you when you return than people will.

* All bottled water does not taste alike.

* Fresh flowers are food for the soul.

* Soft music soothes the spirit.

* It is idealistic to expect perfection, it is realistic to know it cannot be acheived.

* Love is sometimes difficult...hate is always foolish.

* There are no "good" drivers on the road..just those who pay attention to the bad drivers and avoid them.

* Baby calves are much cuter than big fat cows.

* My whole family knows how to put the fun in dysfunctional.

* Tears are multi-lingual..they announce sadness, joy, surprise and countless other emotions..they are a good thing.

Nothing earth shattering here...just a muddled mind trying to find its way back out of the twilight zone...

see ya......
