"In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures. For in the dew of little things the heart finds its morning and is refreshed." Kahlil Gibran

all good things come to an end...

This will be my last day in Netta World. *sigh*

It's impossible to pick a "favorite" part of the visit except to say it has been amazing just to be able to spend some time with Netta.

She treated me to my first ever pedicure the other day. Whatta treat! I could make that a habit very easily. And, it was great fun to sit there and watch the other ladies getting their eyelashes enhanced and their fingernails painted. I just can't believe what women go through to look beautiful. As for me...I'll settle for pretty toes.

We visited the casino last night...came thiiiiiiis close to hitting the jackpot...you know how that goes. Although we didn't walk away with a lot of money, we had a great time. As an added bonus...we are both members of the Queens Club..heh, heh, heh.

We ate dinner at the casino...a great buffet with an especially tantalizing dessert bar...yummmmmmm. I loved the ambiance...linen napkins always add a touch of elegance...and the food was above average for a buffet.

On the way home we drove down by the riverfront. I could see the arch from the car..walking is not my best thing to do...and it is awesome. It's huge...makes me feel rather insignificant in comparrison.

I love the mixture of old and new architecture in the area..
The old buildings are so beautiful and you can almost feel the history oozing from the structures. Awesome.

Netta has been a most gracious hostess and I know it hasn't been easy for her. She's had to work all but one day while I've been here and I know she's tired at the end of the day. In spite of that, she's kept me entertained and well fed.

Best of all though is the laughter. Yep,,,,guess that would be my favorite thing...the laughter.
