Ground Control to Major Tom

Leaving the show through the house is fun. Sometimes people applaud us as we leave while they're waiting for their check. I like that. Some of the cast leave through the back. Not me. I stop and chat with the people. It's nice. One woman told me, "I'd really like to see you again in something else." Wow. That's really nice.

Jazz vocalist Ann Hampton Callaway is sister-in-law to the director. She and a friend were at the show sometime back. They stopped me on my way out to tell me how much they liked my work. And my look. And my voice. "You have a great voice. Do you do voice overs?" No. "You have one of those faces where someone would see you and say, 'yeah, that guy;' do you do print work?" No. "Film?" I'm working on some independent projects.

I want to send a memo to these good people. "Please advise."
