Wowzers

I wrote a whopping 3,176 words on "Prickings" yesterday. Made up for those days of none or 200 words in some respects. I think I'm learning I can't really take days off very easily, otherwise my Story Forge Guild (yeah, that's for you, Neal), or fairies, or muse, or grumpy old chain smoking man in the basement runs off. I'll have to figure out how that works for me and how to keep my creative genius around.

So, it's back to the mines. Perhaps I'll finish the story today, in which case then we'll let it steep for a little, edit and rewrite in time for Thursday and start working on one of the stories I have bursting to get out.

In other news, Neil Gaiman rocks my world. 1602 is wonderful. The rumor, according to my local comic shop owner (so who knows) is that Neil's next comic for Marvel will be Nick Fury??? Alright then.

BTW -- have you read Sunshine by Robin McKinley? NO??? Well, you need to push off to the nearest book shop or library and get a copy to read. You'll love it! Trust me.
