2004-09-14 10:38 AM hormones Grrr... These pregnancy hormones are just grrr... I've had worse, however. Avadore, for example, was a worse pregnancy. The pregnancies before him that ended in miscarriage were worse than this. I think a lot of my dour mood lately is related to the other members of the household. Things seem to be on the upswing for Winter, Rice and J-Spot. That's good for all of us. Lately I've been trying to figure out how to live with a bunch of bachelors. (Okay, this isn't new, but I'm beginning to go bonkers.) Any suggestions on how to keep the house clean and get people to do good quality work on their chores? (Okay, so Rice isn't a bachelor, but you wouldn't know it :)). My friend Randy said that if I turn into a controlling bitch that would work, but he doesn't see that happening... Bummer that. For lunch I'm making a pear, apple, avocado and blue cheese salad. Then I have my class. At some point I need to get some writing done. I've been so tired lately that I've spent a lot of time sleeping, but some time thinking on how to work the story I'm working on. I also have a massive amount of editing to do on at least two stories and some moderate editing on a third. In terms of writing, "Bison's Child" got excellent critiques and a lot of positive feedback from writing group #2. We'll see what Group #1 thinks in a couple of weeks. I'm also still waiting to hear back on the poem I submitted in March (other than it's been submitted to the head editor for the final decision), and on the short story I submitted in April (other than "Can I hold on to this for a bit longer and look at it some more?") I need to get working on more stuff to submit so I have lots of things to watch :). What else? Not much else. Time to make that salad.
