that greasing time of year

My two-year-old has eczema and has had since he was just a few months old. When he was a tiny baby, he also had cradle cap and as a result looked like a little burn victim.

He's much cuter now.

However, it's getting cold outside, and though his skin has been pretty much flawless for many months, the eczema is coming back with the weather.

Today was the day to break out the Bag Balm, Eucerin and Elidil. I greased him down with the Bag Balm and Eucerin and am hoping we won't need the Elidil.

It's been a busy morning already with playing cars and motorcycles, accidentally knocking plants over, vacuuming, and doing wild chases so diapers can be put back on.

Today there will be sandwiches made, hurts kissed, stories read and songs sung.

There will also be writing, research, and studying done. And I can't forget to put my biographical/address/payment information together for the Scattered, Covered, Smothered anthology.

It's a busy Monday.

And who knows what unexpected surprised will pop up?
