monday, monday

The Cold continues. Yesterday wasn't too bad. I had a lot of obligations and was able to meet them. Then I crashed. Hard. I think I took a step back.

Winter's cold is moving into his chest, which evidently he encourages to do. He says it could take a couple of months to take care of; often he has chest colds that stay there for quite a while. Rice and I were moderately horrified. (You wouldn't believe the hacking.) Winter replied, "You aren't smokers, are you?" Well, thank God for that. I don't want this blasted thing around in another couple months. Thankfully, Winter's neck hasn't turned black yet, so there's still hope that he hasn't developed a case of the Superflu :).

I spend a bit of time most mornings reading the news. This morning had some interesting pieces:

this for example My favorite part: "A charismatic leader who said he ate a McDonald's product most days, Bell was diagnosed with colorectal cancer just weeks after being named to the company's top job in April." OY!

And also who knew science could not only be interesting but so yummy! I mean creme brulee, for crying out loud!

And finally, this, which is just plain fun.

Happy MLK Day! Celebrate your civil liberties!
