That's right, it's Friday night. I have two little kids and we haven't had water for over six hours (part of the water main has broken) and no one can tell me when we'll have water again. This is not very much fun.

I am also dog sitting a two-year-old beagle. She's cute, and pretty well behaved, even though she just broke through the front door while I was taking the garbage out and chased a neighbor's cat down the street. Also, she has no idea what words like "sit", "come", "heel", and "stay" mean. She does know "treat".

Well, we all have to start somewhere.

I may be a little low on patience.

And in exciting news, I have a date tomorrow night. Woo! It's been a day or two since I last had a date.

Hold on -- I think the dog just found the cat.
