beware the ides

Since I was sixteen, I have stood up and taken notice when the fifteenth of March rolls around. Long story, but Shakespeare's "A soothsayer bids you beware the Ides of March" should be sufficient explanation.

This may just be me, but doesn't this seem like a good day to curl up and stay inside?

Lots of plan changing going on. Was going out today, but that got canceled. (Probably best, considering the day and all.) Was going up north to see my husband and my in-laws Friday, but the FIL has caught a cold, so that has been cancelled.

In some respects, this is turning out to be a semi-disappointing week. I really need to find something that will make this a less disappointing. It's not good to be stuck in a house alone with two small kids while it snows and blows outside and any end that one used to have in sight keeps getting pushed further and further away. A person gets a little down.

Lots of interesting things to talk about. Well, at least interesting to me, but I also have a lot of other stuff to do today. I'll leave you with this -- stay home tonight and watch a good movie. Don't go out with a bunch of senators. They're politicians, and you know how they like to stab people in the back.
