2007-01-17 12:06 PM beatles and elvis My father once made an observation that people tended to gravitate towards Elvis or towards the Beatles. And maybe they liked both, but they were certainly partial to one or the other; maybe they weren't fond of either, but still, there was still one they liked better than the other.
As far as I have been able to discern, this is a pretty good observation. As for me, I'm a Beatles person. I can understand how someone could be an Elvis person. Really, the guy could rock. But it's just always the way it's been, since I was a wee one. So, are you more of an Elvis person, or a Beatles person? As for the "Who's your favorite Beatle" question, well now, that's an entirely different discussion. The next question is I wonder what this sort of thing reveals about one?
