Avadore tells me he and LD are the "Good Guy Spiderman", while I am the "Bad Guy Spiderman".

But of course.

I asked Avadore what he thought LD wanted for his birthday. Avadore told me that he, Avadore, wanted webshooters. (Actually, Avadore does not know the word "webshooter", but he knows how to place his fingers and make the little webshooting noise.)

But of course.

I told him that was great, but what does LD want for his birthday? He can have webshooters, too.

But of course.

At this point I showed Avadore how to pretend one has webshooters. He thought that was quite exciting. We all ran around for a while pretending we had webshooters. (Some of us ran more than others -- I'm not quite up to running, yet. I trotted a little.) We went around and around the circle that links the entryway, living room, hall that leads to the bedrooms and bathroom, and the kitchen.

The new house does not have such a circle. The kids love the circle. I love the circle. What will we do without one?

Pretend we have one, I suppose.

Avadore wants me to bake a chocolate cake. He rarely asks for such things. Other than the ever-expanding waistline issues, I can think of no reason not to, so I am off to bake a cake.

I suspect that if I suggested we pretended we had chocolate cake that that would not fly, or web-swing, or whatever.
